special seminar on occupational safety BG ETEM

The professional association for energy, textiles, electrical and media products (BG ETEM) and the Association of German Piano Makers (BDK) are holding a seminar as part of the entrepreneur model (form of occupational health and safety support for companies with up to 50 employees) for "piano and harpsichord construction".

This event is tailored exclusively for our industry and planned at the required intervals. Since regular participation in BG safety seminars is mandatory for employers, this is a welcome opportunity to fulfill this in a targeted seminar!

Contents:

- It is aimed at all piano and harpsichord makers and restorers as well as piano tuners.

- The seminar focuses specifically on occupational safety and health protection. Among other things, practical solutions are explained (e.g. the correct handling of lead) in order to be able to comply with the required legal workplace limits and assessment criteria with effective protective measures.

- The focus is on: transport, lifting and carrying, hazardous substances in general and lead in particular, noise, wood/felt dust, handling hand-held devices in piano making

- The "Musical Instrument Making" entrepreneur model seminar is concluded with a training certificate if the one-day seminar has been successfully completed and important occupational safety measures, e.g. the risk assessment, have been developed (with written feedback to the entrepreneur model department of BG ETEM).

- Successful completion of the entrepreneur model seminar fulfills the essential requirements of occupational health and safety support in accordance with the Occupational Safety Act (ASiG) and the accident prevention regulation "Company doctors and occupational safety specialists" (DGUV Regulation 2).

To meet the requirements of ASiG and DGUV Regulation 2, further training is required every 5 years to refresh what has been learned.

- For people who cannot attend the event, there is the option of attending a basic seminar and then a cross-industry advanced seminar from BG ETEM in two days.

- For recognition within the framework of the entrepreneur model, personal participation as an entrepreneur is required. Participation cannot generally be delegated. In addition, up to two committed employees can also participate free of charge. These must be registered when registering for the seminar.

- Upon request to the organizer, entrepreneurs without employees can also participate in the seminar as members of BG ETEM if staff recruitment is planned for later.

- To register for the respective seminars, please use the individual link. This will take you to the corresponding page of the BG ETEM seminar database. After pressing the "Request" field, you will be taken to the registration screen. As confirmation of your registration, you will receive an invitation to the respective seminar from the organizer.
